How do you ensure that workers in your supply chain are treated fairly?

We have a Supplier Code of Conduct, based on the standards we also hold ourselves to, that every supplier must uphold. It includes requirements for eco-friendly production, but also fair and safe working conditions and guaranteed living wages for all workers. Italy is bound be EU law, so the risk of unsafe and unfair practices is significantly lower than in other countries. We conduct supplier visits every year, and most of our suppliers are also certified and audited by third-party organizations to make sure that these standards are upheld.
